Call for projects
In the context of the Automated Photography research project we are collecting a comprehensive overview on photographic works dealing with automation.
The resulting database will be open access and published on this website. Selected works might also be published in the Automated Photography Book launching at the Automated Photography Symposium in Spring 2021.
The works will be structured in five sections:
1 automation of capture systems
2 automation of post-production
3 automated images without cameras
4 social, economical and political implications
5 automated vision and photographer's agency
Concerned artists are kindly requested to submit their work via the submission form.
Submissions must include:
- Artist name
- Artist biography (max. 100 words)
- Email address
- Title of the project
- Year of the project
- Up to 5 images (A4, 300dpi, 10MB per file limit)
- Up to 1 min video excerpt (1080p, mp4, 100MB limit)
- Exhibitions / Publications
- Description of the project, including nature of the project, presentation, format (max. 300 words)
The deadline for submissions is the 31.10.2020.
By sending in your work, you accept that the work may be reproduced in context of the Database on Automated Photography on this website. We collect your email address only to contact you in case of questions and to update you about the progress of the project.
